Simon Steer: Born in Exeter and living in Silverton with his family of 3 boys and his wife Jane, he is the GM of a locally based Recruitment Agency. His work history saw him work as an Antiques exporter, dairy herdsman and HGV artic driver. Hobbies include camping, photography, cricket and making excuses to his wife for the delays in getting that next DIY job done.
Olivia Kennard: I have lived in the village for 12 years. From the age of 12 I lived in South Devon and after some globe-trotting ended up back in Exeter working for a land agent. For the last 8 years I have run a gardening business in Silverton and surrounding area and I also run a part time business helping people to reduce their household bills. Recently joined the Parish Council but I am yet to make my mark!
Gill Bamforth: A mother with 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Gill has lived in Silverton for 26 years and has been a member of the council for 5 years. Interests in the village are Secretary to Silverton Village Twinning which she & her husband Ron started in the early 90’s. Also a Trustee for the Community Hall and a member of Street Market committee and local drama group
Chris Sleep: My family have lived in Silverton for many years. Married with two children, I enjoy restoring motorcycles and Rugby. Starting out as an electrician, now working as a Project Manager for an Engineering Consultancy and currently studying an MSc at Glasgow University.

Gary Burnett: Devon born, my family date back over 150 years within a 10 mile radius of Silverton. I’m married with two children and a dog. After leaving school, I studied to become an engineer. Choosing a career path that has seen me travel extensively around the world, no two days have ever been the same! Coming home brings a bit of normality back into my life. Silverton.....what a fantastic place to call home!!!
